What is IES?

Industrial Energy Storage (IES) is a comprehensive system made from electric-vehicle batteries and developed for the storage of electricity.

The IES system gives a second life to batteries that are no longer suitable for use in vehicles, but still have high capacity for use as stationary energy storage units. Through this approach, we extend the life cycle of batteries, support circular economy, reduce waste and contribute to reducing environmental impact.

IES was designed in cooperation with the car manufacturer Škoda Auto.
